Hylocereus Polyrhizus Originated by a lake in Guatemala that lies high among Central American volcanoes where it got its name. This variety is a fast grower and will fruit within a year with optimal conditions. Flowers are self-sterile and need to be cross pollinated. The medium to large fruit has a redish pink skin with green fins. The flesh has a great balance of sweet and sour flavors, average weight 0.75-1 Lbs. and Brix reported at 16-18.
A note: A nursery in Florida seemed to have a Lake Atitlan variety that is white fleshed Hylocereus Guatemalensis. Ours like most growers around the US is a Red flesh variety.
We are currently not selling dragon fruit cuttings. Our plants are still young, and we are waiting on them to start producing.
Selling fruit plants true to type is our top priority. Once our plants mature and we can verify the fruit we will notify all those who subscribed.
