Hylocereus Polyrhizus. A very close relative of Hylocereus Costaricensis. This variety is one of five know varieties to be grown commercially in Nicaragua. DNA test shows that Rosa Lisa and Cebra to be considered the same but we have found small variations in appearance.
The stem has a greyish green color and have several medium-sized spines. A gray coating is present on the stem to help protect the plant from extreme weather.
The flower is Self-Sterile, cross pollination from another specie required.
The fruit average 1 Lb. and is delicious, having both flavor and sweetness. and average brix of 18-20.
We are currently not selling dragon fruit cuttings. Our plants are still young, and we are waiting on them to start producing.
