El Grullo
$12.00
$30.00
Developed by Edgar Valdivia of the California Rare Fruit Growers Organization, this variety is a cross between El Grullo & an unknown Undatus. The stems have a gray coating which helps protect the plant from extreme weather and the thorns are relatively large. The flowers are self-sterile and cross pollination is a must. It takes 30 days from but to flower and another 30 to ripe fruit. The fruit is egg shape and dusty pink color, the many fins grow close to the fruit. The flesh has a delicious grape/kiwi tropical flavor. Average weight 1 Lbs. and brix reported at 18-19
Please note:
We are currently not selling dragon fruit cuttings. Our plants are still young, and we are waiting on them to start producing.
Selling fruit plants true to type is our top priority. Once our plants mature and we can verify the fruit we will notify all those who subscribed.
