Hylocereus hybris with an unknown species. Named after a nursery owner in CA, this variety resembles both Undatus & Guatemalensis. The stems have the look and size of Undatus and growth is in relatively shorter segments. The flowers have abundant amount of pollen and they are self-pollinating making this variety a great commercial choice. Pollen can be used to pollinate other varieties. The fruit has a redish pink skin with green fins and the flesh is pale pink with a well-balanced sweet & sour floral/grape flavor. Average weight 1-1.5 Lbs. and brix reported at 18-19.
